Ingredients
- Broccoli - 1 head
- Spinach - 5.3 oz
- Brown Rice - 4.4 oz
- Sea Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Shallot - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Nut Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fish Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add rice to boiling salted water, cover with a lid, and cook according to the package instructions.
Step 2
Wash the broccoli, separate it into small florets, and boil in salted water for 3–4 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the broccoli with a slotted spoon and boil the spinach in the same water for 1 minute.
Step 4
Peel and finely chop the shallot and garlic.
Step 5
Peel the ginger, slice it into thin strips, and chop it.
Step 6
Prepare the dressing: heat nut oil in a pan and sauté the shallot, garlic, and ginger until translucent. Add fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar, and mix the dressing.
Step 7
Add the broccoli and spinach to the pan, stirring to heat everything together.
Step 8
Serve the rice on a plate, top with some broccoli and spinach, and drizzle with the dressing.
