- Water - 23 fl oz
- Rice - 10.6 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Italian chopped parsley - 2 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the onion and finely chop it. Pour vegetable oil into the skillet and sauté the onion until golden. Then add the tomato paste, mix, and simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add the washed and dried rice to the onion and sauté for 1 minute. Then add the Italian herb mix, ground black pepper, salt, sugar, and boiling water (the water should rise 2 cm above the rice).
Step 3
Cook the dish covered on low heat for about 20–25 minutes.
