  • Salt - 2 teaspoons
  • Paprika - 2 teaspoons
  • Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Duck - 4 lbs
  • Butter - 4.2 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 374°F.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix salt, paprika, and black pepper. Rub the mixture over the duck inside and out. Place it in a baking dish.

Step 3

Cook for 1 hour.

Step 4

Then, brush the bird with half of the softened butter and roast for another 45 minutes.

Step 5

Brush with the remaining butter and cook for another 15 minutes, until the bird is golden brown.
