Roasted Brussels sprouts with garlic
Ingredients
- Brussels Sprouts - 7.1 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the cabbage. Remove the outer leaves and wash it. Peel the garlic.
Step 2
Cut the cabbage into halves. Finely chop the garlic.
Step 3
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, around 7 out of 10. Place the cabbage in a single layer in the skillet. Do not add oil. Sauté for 2-4 minutes until the cabbage is slightly browned.
Step 4
Flip and cook for the same amount of time on the other side. Also without oil. Reduce the heat to 4–5 out of 10.
Step 5
Add garlic, vegetable oil, and butter, and sauté until desired doneness, remembering to flip occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste during the process. This can be served as a side dish or as a standalone meal.
