Roasted Lamb with Garlic and Oregano
Ingredients
- Lamb - 3 lbs
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Mixed Ground Peppers - 0.2 oz
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Oregano - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse and dry the lamb.
Step 2
Rub well with salt and pepper. Leave in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Brush the meat with olive oil and place it in a baking dish, covering it with two layers of foil. Roast for 1.5 hours.
Step 4
Chop the garlic and oregano, mix with the butter. Spread the mixture over the meat and return to the oven for another 15–20 minutes.
Step 5
You can baste with the resulting juices during roasting.
