Roasted Pepper Rolls with Cheese Cream
Ingredients
- Sweet Pepper - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 2.8 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Hard Cheese - 2.8 oz
- Scallions - 3 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the peppers on a rack and roast in the oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes. Put the peppers in a plastic bag for 10 minutes (seal the bag). Remove from the bag, peel off the skin, remove the seeds, and cut into strips 2.5–3 cm wide.
Step 2
Cut the cheese into cubes, place in a blender, add garlic, and blend until smooth.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the garlic-cheese mixture, cream cheese, and finely chopped green onion. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Step 4
Place 1 teaspoon of filling on each strip of pepper.
Step 5
Roll up into a roll. Secure with a toothpick. Serve at the table.
