- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tofu - 4.2 oz
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Chopped Basil Leaves - ½ cup
- Linguine pasta - 8.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the Italian-style baked tofu, oil, and 1 portion of chopped tomatoes into a bowl, and add ½ cup of water.
Step 2
Blend using a blender or food processor until smooth.
Step 3
If necessary, thin with water to achieve a sour cream-like consistency. Set aside.
Step 4
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and return to the pot.
Step 5
Mix with the previously prepared mixture, add the remaining tomatoes and basil, and stir again.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
