- Onion - 1 piece
- White Cabbage - 14.1 oz
- Whole egg - 2 pieces
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Breadcrumbs - 7.1 oz
- Bacon - 2.5 oz
- Cod - 2 lbs
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the cod and drain the water.
Step 2
Pass the fish, bacon, cabbage, and onion through a meat grinder. Add two yolks, season with salt and pepper, and knead the mixture.
Step 3
Beat the yolks and 2 tablespoons of water.
Step 4
Form small patties, dip them in egg white, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Fry on both sides until golden brown. Then simmer on low heat under a lid for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked.
