Russian Mushroom Julien with Cream
Ingredients
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 1½ spoons
- Wheat Flour - 0.4 oz
- Cheese Spread - 4.8 oz
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Champignons - 4.9 oz
- 10% cream - 4 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter with basil.
Step 2
Wash the mushrooms and cut them into 8 pieces, then sauté until cooked through.
Step 3
Pour the cream over the mushrooms and simmer for 3–4 minutes with the lid on.
Step 4
Add the flour and mix thoroughly until the mixture thickens slightly.
Step 5
Transfer the mushrooms to the baking dishes and pour over the remaining cream.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 7
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it over the julienne.
Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes at the same temperature.
Step 9
Let the finished dish cool slightly.
