Salad with cod liver and quail eggs
Ingredients
- Marinated cherries - 10 pieces
- Romaine lettuce - 2.5 oz
- Quail Egg - 5 pieces
- Cod Liver - 8.1 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 1 tablespoon
- Spanish onions - ½ head
- Basil - ½ sprig
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the quail eggs hard, then cool them.
Step 2
Tear the lettuce into small pieces by hand.
Step 3
Place the cod liver on the lettuce leaves.
Step 4
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Step 5
Transfer to a serving dish.
Step 6
Slice the onion into half rings or smaller.
Step 7
Add them to the salad.
Step 8
Top with a little grated cheese.
Step 9
Cut the eggs in half and place them in the salad. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 10
Add the basil leaves. If the leaves are large, chop them finely beforehand.

Dress with green olive oil.
