Description

Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Shrimp - 14.1 oz
- Green Butter - ½ head
- Orange Bell Peppers - ½ piece
- Canned Pineapple Chunks - 3 pieces
- Marinated cherries - 5 pieces
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
- Rice Noodles - 3 oz
- Pad Thai Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the shrimp, peel them, and carefully remove the long thin vein from each shrimp using the tip of a knife.
Step 2
Place the peeled shrimp in a plastic bag along with the oil, spicy Thai sauce, and garlic, then tie the bag. Mix thoroughly by tossing the bag lightly in the air and let the shrimp marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, boil the rice noodles. Add the noodles to boiling water and let them simmer for 3–4 minutes. Afterward, drain the water like you would with regular pasta, rinse in cold water, and set aside to cool.
Step 4
Grease a skillet with oil and lay the marinated shrimp in a single layer, frying over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat and take out the shrimp.
Step 5
Add more oil and sauté the chopped bell pepper in the same skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Step 6
On a plate, place the lettuce leaves, then on each leaf, arrange the rice noodles, bell pepper, shrimp, and chopped pieces of pineapple.
Step 7
Season everything with a small amount of soy sauce and garnish with slices of cherry tomatoes and sesame seeds. Optionally, you can add salt, pepper, and herbs to your taste.
