Ingredients
- Halloumi Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Sage - 2 sprigs
- Tomatoes - 10.6 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Parsley - 1.8 oz
- White Balsamic Cream - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a blender, combine hot vegetable oil, parsley, and a pinch of salt.

Strain through cheesecloth without squeezing to avoid sediment. The finished green oil can be stored in the refrigerator for a week.
Step 3
Remove the leaves from the sage stems.
Step 4
Slice the halloumi into approximately 1 cm thick pieces.
Step 5
Slice the tomatoes into rings.
Step 6
Place a sage leaf on each piece of halloumi.
Step 7
Heat a skillet without oil and place the pieces of halloumi with the sage side down.
Step 8
Once the halloumi is golden brown, flip it over and fry until it develops a crispy crust.
Step 9
Arrange the halloumi and tomatoes on a plate.

Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with green oil, and garnish with balsamic cream.
