Description
If you want the nori sheet to be on top, do not flip it after laying out the rice. Instead, place the filling directly in the middle of the rice.
Ingredients
- Sushi Rice - 5.3 oz
- Dried Nori Seaweed - 3 pieces
- Lightly Salted Red Fish - 3.5 oz
- Avocado - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 1.1 oz
- Toasted Sesame - a pinch
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, cook the rice in a 1:2 ratio with water, adding a little salt to the water.
Step 2
Once the rice is ready, add the rice vinegar and mix. Then place the rice in a deep bowl and let it cool.
Step 3
Slice the lightly salted salmon into thin strips, removing any bones if present.
Step 4
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and slice it in the same way as the salmon.
Step 5
Take a sheet of nori and place it on a bamboo mat, previously covered with plastic wrap. Spread the rice evenly across the nori sheet, then flip it over.
Step 6
Place the salmon in the center of the nori sheet, and do the same with the avocado. Add a very thin line of mayonnaise.
Step 7
Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi, then cut it into pieces about 2–2.5 cm thick. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
