Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 17.6 oz
- Soy Sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Sake - 4 tablespoons
- Watermelon - 4 tablespoons
- Grated Ginger Root - a pinch
- Toasted Sesame - 3 tablespoons
- Cotton Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Watermelon - ¼ piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a non-metallic bowl, mix the soy sauce, sake, watermelon juice, and ginger.
Step 2
Place the salmon fillet in the mixture, turn it over, and refrigerate to marinate for 2 hours.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Pour oil into a baking dish. Pat the salmon fillet dry and lay it in the dish in a single layer, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 4
Bake for 7 minutes (the flesh should easily flake apart).
Step 5
Transfer to a warmed plate and garnish with diced watermelon before serving.
