Salmon in Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 24.7 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 1½ bunches
- Marinated cherries - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Safflower Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Cream 22% - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the salmon and remove the skin.
Step 2
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Lightly coat in flour.
Step 3
Sauté lightly in a pan. You can even break it into pieces with a spatula.
Step 4
Pour the cream over the fish. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Chop the spinach (not finely). Add to the pan. Cover with a lid for 2–4 minutes. Do not exceed this time, as the spinach will lose its freshness.
Step 6
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Add to the pan. Cover with a lid. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Remove from heat and serve.
