Salmon in Mustard-Honey Sauce

Ingredients

  • Salmon - 4 pieces
  • Mustard Greens - 3 tablespoons
  • Honey - 3 teaspoons
  • Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Garlic - 2 cloves

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, place 3 tablespoons of mustard. Homemade 'Russian' mustard or another sufficiently spicy mustard is ideal for this dish. Add 3 teaspoons of honey to the mustard.

Step 2

Press the garlic, add ½ tablespoon of salt and black pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly until smooth. The sauce is ready.

Step 3

Lightly salt the salmon steaks and place them on a baking sheet.

Step 4

Coat the fish with the prepared sauce on all sides. Leave the dish for 30 minutes. The fish should soak well.

Step 5

Place the fish in the oven for 40 minutes and cook at a temperature of 356°F. If possible, turn on the grill for the last 5 minutes.

Step 6

Trout or salmon in mustard-honey sauce is ready! We recommend serving it with boiled cauliflower, broccoli, or rice. Optionally, drizzle with lemon juice. Enjoy your meal!
