Salmon Patties with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • Canned Saira - 15.2 oz
  • Crackers - 8 pieces
  • Egg white - ½ cup
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Horseradish Leaves - 0.9 oz
  • Dessert Yogurt - ½ cup
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - to taste
  • Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Red Caviar - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Drain the liquid from the fish, transfer it to a bowl, and mash it with a fork. Add the crushed crackers and egg powder. Mix well and shape into 4 patties. Sprinkle with pepper.

Step 2

Heat a skillet and add olive oil. Fry the patties over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Step 3

For the sauce, mix yogurt, horseradish, and a little lemon juice.

Step 4

Place the patties on plates, top with a small amount of sauce, and arrange lemon wedges alongside. Optionally, garnish each patty with a small amount of red caviar.
