Description
You can use store-bought ground ginger.
Ingredients
- Grated Ginger Root - 1.8 oz
- Smoked haddock fillet - 28.2 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 head
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Dry White Wine - ½ cup
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the salmon fillet and cut it into four steaks.
Step 2
Prepare the marinade: peel the lemon and garlic. Grate finely or chop in a food processor, add ginger, vinegar, wine, salt, pepper, and sugar. Mix until smooth.
Step 3
Coat the salmon pieces with the marinade and leave in the refrigerator for two hours.
Step 4
Wrap each piece with the marinade in foil and bake at 356°F for about half an hour.
