Description
Salmon with rosemary
Ingredients
- Hot smoked pink salmon - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 4 spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 6 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
- Rosemary - 2 spoons
- Butter - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the cleaned fish, which has been scaled and gutted, into pieces 2 centimeters wide across the body. Only the part of the fish with rib bones and the back will be used. The tail section is not cut into steaks.
Step 2
Mix the flour with salt and pepper. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat it over medium heat. Coat the salmon fillets well in the flour. Fry them in the oil for 5 minutes on one side and 3–4 minutes on the other. The fish cooks very quickly, so be careful not to overcook it and dry it out.
Step 3
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked fish to a suitable baking dish. Sprinkle each piece of fish with rosemary.
Step 4
Place thin slices of butter over the spices so that they cover the fish. Put the dish with the fish in a preheated oven at 428°F for 5 minutes. Then immediately remove it, avoiding letting the fish dry out. Serve without a side dish, with two pieces per serving.
