Description
This traditional spicy Mexican sauce is perfect for grilled chicken fillet or fish with a green salad.
Ingredients
- Anchovy fillet - 1 can
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Apple Cider Vinegar - ½ teaspoon
- Capers - 1 tablespoon
- Parsley - 0.7 oz
- Olive Oil - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Drain the oil from the can of anchovies. Mash the anchovies in a mortar with a pestle. Add the garlic, vinegar, and capers, and grind into a smooth paste.
Step 2
Finely chop the parsley, add it to the mortar, and continue mixing while gradually adding the olive oil. Season the finished sauce with pepper and salt to taste.
