Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread - ½ piece
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Chicken Broth - 1 fl oz
- Spanish onions - ½ head
- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 3.5 oz
- Melted Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Red Grape Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Basil - 1 bunch
- Thyme - 2 sprigs
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the bread and tomatoes into cubes, and the onion into thin half-rings. Combine everything in a salad bowl, drizzle with wine (balsamic vinegar can be used instead of wine), pour in the broth, and mix well.
Step 2
Chop the mozzarella, and slice the smoked sausages into thin rounds. Add them to the salad and gently mix, being careful not to crumble the cheese.
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Before serving, garnish with basil and thyme.
