Description
Hazelnuts can be turned into flour by grating them. This way, the feeling of nut pieces will disappear, while the aroma and balance will remain.
Ingredients
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Sauerkraut - 12.3 oz
- Cooked Ham - 7.1 oz
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Parsley - 0.7 oz
- Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Drain the brine from the sauerkraut and transfer it to a deep bowl. Cut the apples (preferably sour, such as Granny Smith) into quarters and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Slice the apples into thin wedges and immediately mix them with the sauerkraut to prevent browning. Cut the ham into strips and add it to the sauerkraut with the apples.
Step 3
Chop the parsley and nuts, mix them with the sour cream. Season to taste with salt, sugar, and pepper. Add the dressing to the sauerkraut. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Serve garnished with salad leaves and fresh black bread.
