Sautéed Anchovies with Broccoli
Ingredients
- Broccoli - 3 lbs
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Anchovies - 10 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 5.3 oz
- Feta cheese - 2.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a hot skillet with olive oil, add the chopped anchovy fillets and finely chopped garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until lightly golden.
Step 2
While the anchovies are frying, trim the stalks from the broccoli. Place the broccoli in a pot with a large amount of lightly salted boiling water (about 6 liters) and cook for 1 minute.
Step 3
Remove the broccoli from the water and add it to the skillet with the anchovies. Continue cooking everything together for about 10 minutes, until the broccoli is tender but still holds its shape.
Step 4
Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Cook the gomiti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the cooked pasta. Cut the feta into cubes. Mix all the ingredients together.
