Ingredients
- Rice - 17.6 oz
- Seafood cocktail - 2 lbs
- Champignons - 8 pieces
- Carrot - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Dried Turkey - to taste
- Sweet Pepper - 1 piece
- Parsley - to taste
- Garlic - to taste
- Prunes - to taste
- Mild Chili Spice - ½ pieces
- Serviceberries - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 qt
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion into medium-sized pieces, then sauté it in a pot with vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 2
Add the rice to the pot and sauté it with the onion over high heat for about five minutes.
Step 3
Then reduce the heat and add barberry, sun-dried tomatoes, and the spice mix for fish.
Step 4
Peel the carrot, grate it into long strips, and add it to the rice, mixing it with the contents of the pot. Then, pour water over the rice.
Step 5
Wash the mushrooms, slice them into large pieces, and add them to the pot without stirring. Next, layer the seafood on top. Place a few unpeeled garlic cloves (to be squeezed later) on top of the seafood, along with prunes, dried cherries for decoration, hot pepper, and salt to taste. Cover with a lid and let it cook on low heat for about an hour, occasionally checking the rice for doneness. Before serving, garnish with diced bell peppers and finely chopped parsley.
