Seitan in Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 10% cream - 1.8 oz
- Seitan - 3.5 oz
- Carrot - 0.7 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dried Dill Stems - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the seitan into strips and fry in oil until golden brown. Add the diced carrot; if you don't like it, you can substitute with an equal amount of tomato. Stir-fry for a minute.
Step 2
Pour in the cream and soy sauce, and simmer for a minute.
Step 3
Add the dill and let it steep for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Any side dish will work well; I recommend: mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, lentils, pearl barley, rice, fettuccine, or spaghetti.
