Description
You can substitute leaf cabbage with savoy cabbage. I have also tried using spinach instead of cabbage, which is very tasty as well.
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 4 pieces
- Olive Oil - 6 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- White Cabbage - 17.6 oz
- Soy Sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Orange juice concentrate - 7 fl oz
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Udon Noodles - 21.2 oz
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - 4 tablespoons
- Onion - 4 pieces
- Herbs - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat a grill pan until very hot, brush the flattened chicken breasts with olive oil, and cook until done on each side.
Step 2
Heat the remaining oil in a regular pan, add finely chopped garlic and roughly chopped cabbage, and stir-fry on high heat for 3 minutes until the leaves soften. Add soy sauce, orange juice, and honey, and mix well.
Step 3
Add the cooked noodles and sesame seeds, and stir-fry for another 3 minutes.
Step 4
Slice the chicken into strips. Arrange the noodles in bowls, top with chicken, and sprinkle with chopped onion and herbs.
