Description
It's important to use good quality pasta made from durum wheat, preferably from Italian producers.
Ingredients
- Frozen spinach discs - 7.1 oz
- Cream (40%) - 13 fl oz
- Goat cheese - 10.6 oz
- Nutmeg - 0 oz
- Conchiglie Pasta - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the shell pasta in a large amount of water as indicated on the package, minus five minutes; they should be firmer than al dente since they will continue cooking in the oven.
Step 2
Prepare the filling by thawing the spinach, which can be done in a skillet. Once the spinach is fully thawed, add the cheese, stirring until you achieve a homogeneous mixture, then add salt and pepper.
Step 3
Take a large baking dish with deep sides and preheat the oven.
Step 4
Fill each shell with the filling and place them in the dish. Once all the shells are arranged, pour the cream over them and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes at 356°F.
Step 5
Remove from the oven and serve beautifully arranged on plates.
