Shirataki Rice with Mushrooms and Bacon
Ingredients
- Shirataki Rice - 7.1 oz
- Bacon - 7.1 oz
- Morels - 6.2 oz
- 10% cream - 3 fl oz
- Almond - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Dried Garlic - ½ teaspoon
- Butter - 0.4 oz
- Cheshire Cheese - 0.5 oz
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place chopped bacon on a dry, hot skillet.
Step 2
After 2–3 minutes, stir and add the chopped mushrooms.
Step 3
Add the butter.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper, stir, and reduce the heat to medium. Sauté, stirring occasionally, for about 7–9 minutes.
Step 5
In a dry, heated skillet, pour in the cream, add ground black pepper and flour. Stir immediately.
Step 6
As soon as the cream starts to boil, add a little salt. Stir for one minute.
Step 7
Rinse the shirataki rice in cold water.
Step 8
Add the rice to the cream. Season with dried garlic.
Step 9
Add finely chopped or grated cheese. Stir.
Step 10
After 2 minutes, season with nutmeg, stir, and remove from heat.
Step 11
Combine the ingredients on a plate and serve.
