Shopska salad with chili peppers
Ingredients
- Sweet Pepper - 17.6 oz
- Tomatoes - 10.6 oz
- Cucumbers - 5.3 oz
- Feta cheese - 5.3 oz
- Onion - 3.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - to taste
- Vinegar essence - to taste
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Roast the peppers in the oven until the skin is slightly charred. Transfer them to a plastic bag and let cool for 15–20 minutes. Peel off the skin and remove the seeds. Cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into small pieces. Slice the onion into thin half-rings. Transfer the vegetables to a bowl and mix them by hand. Add salt and vinegar to taste, then add the oil and parsley. Mix well again and arrange on a platter or individual plates. Top with grated feta cheese and garnish with finely chopped chili.
