- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Shrimp - 17.6 oz
- Green peppercorns - 6 pieces
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Light Beer - 1 glass
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 4 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the shrimp in a large pot, pour in a cup of beer, and set it over medium heat.
Step 2
Add a bay leaf, a few whole allspice berries, and garlic to the pot. Season with salt and ground pepper, bring to a boil, and cook, stirring, until ready (about 2 minutes).
Step 3
While the shrimp are boiling, melt the butter in a double boiler.
Step 4
