Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 17.6 oz
  • Chum Salmon Caviar - 17.6 oz
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Mayonnaise - 8.8 oz
  • Gelatin - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken Broth - 3 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 teaspoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Soak the gelatin in cold water until the granules become transparent. Drain in a sieve and let the water drip off, then heat in a water bath until fully dissolved.

Step 2

Finely chop the onion. Mince the chum salmon fillet, add mayonnaise and onion, and mix. Boil the shrimp in boiling vegetable broth for 2 minutes, then cool and peel them.

Step 3

Strain a cup of broth and add lemon juice. Incorporate half of the gelatin into the warm broth, heating while stirring continuously until the gelatin is fully dissolved, then cool. Combine the remaining gelatin solution with the fish mixture.

Step 4

Distribute the fish mixture into 8 molds, smooth the surface, and place the shrimp on top. Pour in the cooled jelly and refrigerate for 2 hours. Before serving, dip the molds in hot water for a few seconds and turn out the contents onto a plate.
