Ingredients
- Shrimp - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1½ teaspoons
- Sherry - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the shrimp under cold running water, pat dry, and sprinkle with salt.
Step 2
In a medium-sized heavy-bottomed skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Then add the grated ginger and sauté for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Next, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the sherry into the skillet with the shrimp and ginger and continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add roughly chopped cilantro to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and stir.
Step 6
Serve with a baguette. As a side dish, serve green beans.
