Ingredients
- Tiger shrimp in brine - 2 lbs
- Parsley - 2 sprigs
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 2 teaspoons
- Onion - 1 head
- Grated Ginger Root - 0.7 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Paprika - 2 teaspoons
- Soy Sauce - 6 tablespoons
- Apple Wine - ½ cup
- Salt - 0 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the shrimp, leaving the heads and tails on, and remove the intestinal vein.
Step 2
Prepare the marinade: chop the parsley and 2 cloves of garlic, mix them with the oil and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
Step 3
Marinate the shrimp for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion.
Step 5
Meanwhile, blend 4 cloves of garlic, ginger, pepper, paprika, 6 tablespoons of soy sauce, a pinch of salt, and honey in a blender until it forms a paste.
Step 6
Pour in the wine and mix.
Step 7
Heat a pan with a small amount of olive oil and quickly fry the shrimp on both sides.
Step 8
Remove from heat.
Step 9
In the same pan, adding more oil, sauté the onion until golden.
Step 10
Pour in the sauce, add salt, and simmer on the pan for 4–5 minutes until it thickens.
Step 11
Then remove from heat, blend again in the blender, and transfer to a sauce boat.
Step 12
Serve the shrimp with the sauce.
