Cut off the stems of the peppers and remove the seeds. Slice them into strips or rings. If the peppers are small, simply cut them in half or into quarters. Salt the inside.
Step 2
Heat the oil with two tablespoons of water in a deep frying pan, add the peppers, season with salt, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 10 minutes until they become soft.
Step 3
