- Millet - 1½ cups
- Pumpkin - 26.5 oz
- Water - 3 cups
- Salt - 1 teaspoon

Peel the fresh pumpkin from the skin and seeds, chop finely, place in a pot, pour in 3 cups of water, and cook for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
Then add the rinsed millet and, stirring, cook for another 15–20 minutes. Cover the thickened porridge with a lid and let it sit for 25–30 minutes to steam. Serve with butter on the side.
