Smoked Pollock with Ramen Noodles and Vegetables
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 7.9 oz
- Chives - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Udon Noodles - 8.8 oz
- Miso Paste - 1 qt
- Baby Corn - 1.8 oz
- Courgette - 1.8 oz
- Watercress - 1.8 oz
- Bamboo shoots - 12 pieces
- Kombu Seaweed - 0.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the seaweed in warm water for 5 minutes. Drain.
Step 2
Place the fish skin-side down in a pan and cover with water. Cover with a lid, bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes. Carefully transfer the fish to a plate and sprinkle with chives and black pepper.
Step 3
Cook the noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until soft. Drain and rinse under cold water. Divide into 2 bowls. Bring the miso soup to a boil, add the chopped vegetables, and cook for 3 minutes until soft. Pour the soup with vegetables over the noodles, sprinkle with watercress, and top with fish, seaweed, and bamboo shoots.
