Description
Soba with Soy Sauce
Ingredients
- Soba Noodles - 10.6 oz
- Shrimp - 5.3 oz
- Snap Peas - 1.8 oz
- Carrot - 3 pieces
- Baby Corn - 1.8 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Sesame Oil - 0 fl oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the buckwheat noodles according to the package instructions. This can be done in advance, as soba can be stored without losing its flavor.
Step 2
Cut all the vegetables into thick strips and mince the garlic.
Step 3
Peel the shrimp, if necessary, removing the shell, and remove the digestive tract by making a cut along the back with a sharp knife and pulling out the dark vein.
Step 4
In a large skillet, heat both oils over high heat. Sauté the shrimp and all the vegetables for about a minute, then add the garlic. Stir, simmer for another thirty seconds, and transfer to a serving dish.
Step 5
After about half a minute, add the cooked noodles to the skillet and splash the entire dish with soy sauce: the skillet should be very hot so that most of the sauce evaporates quickly. Serve immediately.
