Solanka with Greek Yogurt
Ingredients
- White Cabbage - 17.6 oz
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 1½ tablespoons
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Saffron - 1 tablespoon
- Dried Chamomile - 1 tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 tablespoon
- Mixed Ground Peppers - to taste
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Natural Yogurt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Shred the cabbage finely.
Step 2
Place the ground beef in the heated mustard oil in a skillet.
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Once the beef is slightly browned, stir and reduce the heat.
Step 5
Add the cabbage.
Step 6
Cover with a lid.
Step 7
After 10 minutes, stir.
Step 8
Add saffron and salt.
Step 9
Then add marjoram and chili.
Step 10
Stir and cover again.
Step 11
After another 10 minutes, add the butter. Simmer uncovered for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 12
Transfer to a deep bowl, top with Greek yogurt, and serve.
