Solyanka with Meatballs
Ingredients
- Pork fat - 4.2 oz
- White Cabbage - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 3.2 oz
- Garlic - 0.5 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 3 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chili jam - 1 tablespoon
- Sumac - 1 teaspoon
- Pink Himalayan Salt - to taste
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Form small meatballs from the mince.
Step 2
Place them in the heated olive oil in a frying pan.
Step 3
Slice the onion into small pieces.
Step 4
Shred the cabbage.
Step 5
After 3 minutes, turn the meatballs and add the onion.
Step 6
Chop the garlic coarsely.
Step 7
After another 2 minutes, stir the meatballs and onion, then add the cabbage and garlic. Mix slightly.
Step 8
After 3–4 minutes, stir again.
Step 9
Add salt.
Step 10
After 2–3 minutes, season with sumac. Then stir.
Step 11
Add sour cream and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 12
Add chili sauce and tomato paste.
Step 13
Mix well, cover with a lid with holes or slightly cover with a regular lid.
Step 14
After 10–12 minutes, transfer to a plate and serve.
