Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon
Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 2 spoons
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Spaghetti - 15.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (al dente pasta is slightly firm to the bite).
Step 2
In a deep skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the bacon and garlic for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
Step 3
Remove from heat.
Step 4
Drain the cooked pasta in a colander and transfer it to the skillet.
Step 5
Add 2 whole eggs and 1 yolk to the skillet with the pasta.
Step 6
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
Step 7
Season with pepper and sprinkle with cheese again, if desired.
