Ingredients
- Spaghetti - 10.6 oz
- Shrimp - 24.7 oz
- Cream 22% - 5 fl oz
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 1½ spoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add 300 grams of spaghetti to a pot of boiling salted water and cook until fully done.
Step 2
In another pot of boiling salted water, add the frozen shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes. Drain the water. Peel the shrimp from their shells.
Step 3
Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan. Finely chop the onion and sauté it, stirring, until golden brown. Add the minced garlic. Almost immediately, add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring.
Step 4
In a glass of milk, add one egg yolk and whisk thoroughly. Then add flour and repeat the process. Pour the resulting mixture into the pan with the shrimp. Simmer on low heat for one minute, then add cream and simmer for another 5 minutes. The sauce should thicken and take on a gentle pink hue.
Step 5
Serve the pasta hot.
