- Spaghetti - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil leaves - a pinch
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. In a skillet, melt the butter until golden. Rinse the spaghetti, then toss with the butter.
Step 2
Dice the onion, finely chop the garlic, and sauté in olive oil. Cut the bell pepper into cubes and add it to the onion.
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper, add basil and tomato paste. Add water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Serve the spaghetti drizzled with the sauce.
