Ingredients
- Spaghetti - 14.1 oz
- Ground meat - 17.6 oz
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ketchup - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a frying pan, melt a small amount of fat (such as butter). At the same time, bring water to a boil for the spaghetti (as indicated on the package).
Step 2
Add the ground meat and sauté for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The meat will brown during this time. Then add a couple of minced garlic cloves and mix well.
Step 3
Add the tomato paste.
Step 4
Stir and cook for 1–2 minutes. The meat and tomato paste should combine well.
Step 5
Add crushed tomatoes in their own juice (if unavailable, you can use regular ketchup or tomato sauce) and spices. Mix and cook for another 4–5 minutes, then remove from heat and serve with the cooked spaghetti. Optionally, you can sprinkle with grated cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
