I don't know why, but kids really love this dish.

Ingredients

  • Onion - 1 head
  • Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
  • Tomatoes - 2 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 spoons
  • Ocean salt - to taste
  • Spaghetti - 14.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour - 2 spoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Spaghetti: fill a pot with water and place it on the heat. Remember the golden ratio for boiling spaghetti: 1000 ml of water / 100 grams of spaghetti / 10 grams of salt.

Step 2

Meatballs: Finely chop the onion, mix it with the meat, salt, and pepper, add the egg, shape into balls, and roll in flour.

Step 3

Pour sunflower oil into the skillet and lightly fry the meatballs, then add the tomatoes and simmer. Mix the tomato paste with water and add it to the other ingredients. Season with spices: pepper, salt, and a mix of Italian herbs (fresh basil can be added as well). You can also add something else to the sauce; for example, I like to add bell peppers.

Step 4

Cook the spaghetti until al dente, drain the water, add a splash of olive oil or butter (depending on your preference), and lightly season with salt.

Step 5

Serve mixed in a deep bowl.
