Description

It has been scientifically proven that pasta made from durum wheat does not harm our figure at all. Of course, unless you drown it in a pile of ketchup mixed with mayonnaise and other spices. Interestingly, and contrary to common belief, pasta contains the necessary amount of protein - 13 g per 100 g of product, which contributes to weight loss, as it 'melts' fat rather than muscle tissue. Pasta also contains so-called slow sugars, which burn almost completely but gradually. Experts note that these sugars are the best 'fuel' for athletes: they replenish glycogen stores in the muscles. Additionally, pasta is rich in vitamin B1, which reduces fatigue. Many people think that cooked pasta should be rinsed with fresh water. This should never be done! Rinsing reduces the vitamin content in pasta and sharply disrupts their temperature regime. Interestingly, the name 'pasta' comes from the Greek 'makaria' - 'blessing', 'happiness'.

Ingredients

  • Durum wheat - 5.3 oz
  • Sesame Oil - ½ teaspoon
  • Grapeseed Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Mild Chili Spice - to taste
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
  • Peanut Sprouts - 2.1 oz
  • Toasted Sesame - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 1 bunch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cook the spaghetti in salted water as indicated on the package (usually 7-9 minutes). Drain and cool.

Step 2

Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, mix the grapeseed oil, sesame oil, and chili, then heat in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add honey and soy sauce, mix well, and dress the cooked pasta with the sauce. Let it sit for about 30-45 minutes in a cool place.

Step 3

Roast the peanuts and chop them finely.

Step 4

Also roast the sesame seeds.

Step 5

Chop the pepper and cilantro as desired.

Step 6

Before serving, toss the pasta with the peanuts, cilantro, and pepper, mix well, and sprinkle with sesame seeds on top.
