Description
Spaghetti with Shrimp in Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Spaghetti - 26.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Shrimp - 26.5 oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the shrimp in a pot of cold water and wait for it to boil — once it boils, wait for one to two minutes — let it simmer (during cooking, use high heat; season with curry and pepper to taste), then remove the shrimp from the water, but do not drain the water!!!
Step 2
In the water where the shrimp were cooked, add the spaghetti and wait for it to boil, cooking for 10–15 minutes (you can also add spices to taste).
Step 3
While the spaghetti is cooking, clean the shrimp and place them in a deep skillet.
Step 4
Make the sauce. For this, pour water into a bowl (enough to cover the shrimp in the skillet), add two heaping tablespoons of sour cream, mix, then add a tablespoon of salt, a tablespoon of sugar, and a little lemon juice. Mix well.
Step 5
Pour the sauce into the skillet with the cleaned shrimp, and cook the shrimp in this sauce over high heat until it evaporates (you can remove the skillet slightly earlier, without letting the sauce completely evaporate).
Step 6
Remove the spaghetti and shrimp once cooked, and mix everything together.
