Ingredients
- Spaghetti - 14.1 oz
- Canned Mackerel in Oil - 1 can
- Salted anchovies in oil - ½ can
- Pickled capers - 3.5 oz
- Garlic - 2 heads
- Ground Black Pepper - 0.2 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add the spaghetti to boiling salted water and cook for exactly as many minutes as indicated on the package. Ideally, the package should specify the cooking time for spaghetti to achieve al dente.
Step 2
While the spaghetti is cooking, prepare the sauce simultaneously. Drain the water from the capers and tuna. In olive oil, sauté the garlic cloves until golden, then remove them. Lower the heat and add the tuna, followed by the capers and anchovies, season with pepper, mix everything, increase the heat, and keep it on the fire for about 3–4 minutes.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the cooked spaghetti. Mix everything well for 1 minute, keeping the heat up.
Step 4
Preheat plates in the oven or microwave and serve the spaghetti on the warmed plates! Garnish with herbs.
