Description
Spicy Chicken with Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- Paprika - ¼ teaspoon
- Mustard Greens - ½ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 7.1 oz
- Honey - 1.8 oz
- Starch film - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken fillet - 17.6 oz
- Herbs - to taste
- Italian chopped parsley - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken well and pat dry. Mix the spices, crushed garlic, and oil in a bowl. Rub the chicken with salt, then with the spice mixture. Let it sit for 2 hours.
Step 2
Bake the chicken in the oven at 392°F for 30–40 minutes until cooked through.
Step 3
For the sauce, pour a glass of water over the cranberries (set aside a few whole berries for garnish) and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Strain through a sieve. Bring the resulting mixture to a boil and add honey, salt to taste, and diluted starch. Simmer the sauce over low heat until thickened (to your desired consistency) and cool. Transfer to a sauceboat.
Step 5
Place the chicken on a plate and garnish with herbs, drizzling with sauce.
