Spicy pan-fried dumplings
Ingredients
- Dough for dumplings - 17.6 oz
- Boiling water - 1½ l
- Uchiko Suneli - 1 teaspoon
- Mixed Ground Peppers - 1 teaspoon
- Dry adjika - 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Pink Himalayan Salt - to taste
- Flaky sea salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat olive oil (2 tablespoons) in a skillet and add a couple of pinches of coarse salt.
Step 2
Place the dumplings in the skillet and season with utsho-suneli.
Step 3
Add the mixed ground peppers.
Step 4
After 3–5 minutes, stir and pour in boiling water to cover all the dumplings.
Step 5
Add salt. Reduce the heat to medium.
Step 6
Then season with dry adjika.
Step 7
After 5 minutes, drain the water and add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Stir.
Step 8
Increase the heat to high and add paprika and salt.
Step 9
After 3–5 minutes, stir. Reduce the heat to medium and fry for another 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 10
Serve with your favorite sauce.
