- Olive Oil - 2 spoons
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 15.9 oz
- Onion - 1.8 oz
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 8.8 oz
- Minced garlic - 1 tablespoon
- Marinated cherries - 3.2 oz
- Chicken Broth - 6 fl oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Fresh basil leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ spoons
- Chili Flakes - ¼ spoons
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Melted Cheese - 8.8 oz
- Water - 1 glass
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large, deep skillet, heat some oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until soft and translucent. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into cubes, add it to the vegetables, and sauté until there are no more pink spots on the outside. It doesn't need to be fully cooked at this stage. This way, the chicken will remain beautiful and juicy, as it will continue to cook.
Step 3
Then add the pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, the juice of one lemon, and spices. Pour in the broth and water. Bring it to a boil and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Step 4
Remove from heat, sprinkle cheese on top, cover with a lid, and let it sit for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts and the remaining liquid is absorbed.
